Ruthie's Classroom

We are happy to have a wonderful classroom space available for rent by fiber related groups and organizations. Our goal is to help support the fiber arts community by having an affordable and welcoming space available to the larger community. We have already hosted our first weekend beginning weaving workshop and are ready to welcome more folks.

With 675 SF, there is plenty of room for 12 or so floor looms, or knitters or spinning wheels…

The classroom has several large tables, a sufficiency of chairs and benches, and a large whiteboard.

Classroom users are also welcome to use the refrigerator and microwave in the kitchenette.

Rental Rates

The classroom is available to rent during our regular business hours.

Outside of business hours, if one of your group is a Ruthie's member with key access, outside hour access can be arranged.  A Ruthie's member must be on site at all times.  If there is not a Ruthie's member with key access, we can discuss it.

• Ring the doorbell, someone will let you in. 
• Classroom is at the back on the right (red walls).
• Our expectations are that the classroom is left as you found it – no food/beverage items or trash left behind.  You don’t need to stack the chairs.  There are already a couple of tables set up.
• You may use the fridge and microwave, again, we all clean up after ourselves in the kitchenette
• Bathrooms are in the hall through the door by the kitchen
• Be respectful of the weavers, looms, and projects.
• No walking around with food or beverages in the weaving area. Keep them in the kitchen or classroom.
• Please don't have conversations across the space - it is a large space and could mess up someone counting :-)
